Marubeni-Itochu Tubulars Oceania Pty Ltd (MITO) has been selected by APA Group to supply line pipe for the Bulloo Interlink Pipeline (BIL).
APA has confirmed the order for the project's line pipe as a step in progressing this long-lead material. As APA has noted publicly, the Bulloo Interlink Pipeline is intended to increase north-to-south gas capacity and support the resilience of the East Coast gas network.
MITO is grateful for the confidence APA has placed in its team and is committed to supporting the project with quality product and dependable supply.
“Projects like the Bulloo Interlink Pipeline have an important role in strengthening Australia's energy security. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute, and we are determined to deliver on it,” said Hakim Messoussa, Managing Director, Marubeni-Itochu Tubulars Oceania Pty Ltd.
MITO looks forward to working closely and collaboratively with APA as the project progresses. Following APA's Final Investment Decision, MITO and its manufacturing partner, CNPC Baoji Petroleum Steel Pipe Co., Ltd.
