Float equipment enables proper cement placement and driving casing to total depth. It is primarily used in the casing shoe track as a check valve during primary cementing. Float equipment can also be used to add buoyancy to the casing, to reduce hookload while running the casing. Delivering the desired circulation and maintaining drillability.

We offer customisable float equipment in any casing size, weight, grade, and thread as well as single and double valve options.

Guiding equipment is used to help navigate casing through hole rugosity and irregularities to ensure the casing reaches the total depth.

MITO offers a range of guide nose configurations to optimise each well profile to assist in reaching planned depth – spiral or straight vane reamer shoes.

We offer customisable guiding equipment in any casing size, weight, grade, and thread as well as a range of nose configurations.

Stage tools enhance the well integrity and achieve a dependable gas tight seal. They are used mainly when primary cementing cannot be completed in a single interval from shoe to surface or for wells that require selective zonal isolation. Stage tools facilitate stages and function as a contingency mechanism in the case that cement is not returned to the surface.

Applications for stage cementing include:

• Excessive hydrostatic/lifting pressure during primary cementing threatens weak formations.
• Pump time converges with gel transition time.
• Use of discrete cement slurries for targeted zones.
• Zonal isolation of specific formations
• Regulatory requirements.

Foam Wiper balls are a complementary product to remove oil-based mud or cement sheath from the inside of drill pipe or casing wall. This solution can also be used to separate fluid during operations.

MITO’s foam wiper balls are manufactured with a natural rubber matrix, delivering durability, and can be used several times. Suitable for pumping operations using mono-ID and multi-ID bores for a wide range of temperatures. Applications include mechanical tubular wiping, fluid separation, drill pipe clean out, and use with conventional plugs and foam wiper darts to improve wall cleaning.

MITO’s thread lock system is a complementary product designed to keep joints from loosening while running casing or drilling through the shoe-track. 

MITO offers solutions for production casing applications where toe initiator valves, frac sleeves, or casing floatation collars are an integral part of the casing string – adding complexity and risk due to ID restrictions for the cementing plugs and high hydrostatic pressure exposure to the float valves.
